Kids & Teen Camp

Our popular kids’ paddle camp is back again for another season! We have added an additional six spots per week (for a total class size of 18).  Let our enthusiastic and experienced instructors provide your child with a day camp they will never forget. 

We offer an advanced kids paddle camps for those campers that have attended our camps previously.  Both camps will participate in activities together except for the on-water instruction.

Camp Details

Ages: 8-14

Date: July 4 – 8, July 11 – 15, July 18 – 22, July 25 – 29

August 1 – 5, August 8 – 12, August 15 – 19, August 22 -26, August 29 – September 2

 Time: 9am – 4pm (7 hours)

Cost: $225.00

Prerequisite: none

Note: Lunch is not included & camps will run on the public holiday

Teen Kayak Paddle Camp

Ages: 14-18

Camp Type Price Activities Intensity
Regular $225 Camp is focused on introducing paddle sports in a fun and safe manner.  Campers will be taught the fundamentals of ocean kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddle boarding (SUP).  The campers will be on the water every day, exploring the Inlet and its abundant wildlife, giving them a new perspective and respect for their surroundings. We fill the rest of the day with dry land games, crafts, leadership exercises, weather and navigation games and a pool excursion.  Moderate
Advanced $225 Emphasis on expanding the fundamental paddle strokes, navigation, leadership, wet exits and capsize recovery procedures. We fill the rest of the day with dry land games, crafts, leadership exercises, weather and navigation games and a pool excursion. Moderate
Teen $225 Emphasis on expanding the fundamental paddle strokes, navigation, leadership, wet exits and capsize recovery procedures. In addition, participants are taught the skills in the Paddle Canada Introduction to Kayaking course. Longer day excursions and new locations are explored. A great course for any teen interested in future employment with Rocky Point Kayak! Moderate
