Greg Morrissey

The son of a boat builder, I grew up in and around the water and helped build my first Kayak at a very young age. I have been on many kayak trips and tried out many kinds of Kayaks since then. As an archaeologist I have had the opportunity to paddle on all three Canadian Oceans as well as the coasts of Mexico and New Zealand. I began working with Rocky point Kayak in 2007 and got my Paddle Canada Sea Kayaking Instructor certification in 2009 and as a Anmore volunteer firefighter I always keep my first aid training up to date. Through many years with the Canadian scouting movement, a general love of the outdoors I have learned all sorts of skills that apply to Kayaking, the outdoors and wilderness survival and I am always happy to share this knowledge. I really enjoy teaching people new skills, there is nothing more rewarding then the smile on someone’s face when they do something that they did not think they could do.
