Reservation Staff

Duties include:

  • Interact with the public to provide a positive customer experience.
  • Accept and record payment for paddlesport rentals accurately.
  • Adhere to all RPK safety policies, including management of participant waivers.
  • Explain the use of all gear, including emergency procedures, for participants.
  • Take reservations by phone, in person and email accurately.
  • Work and communicate with other staff members to ensure there are adequate vessels available.
  • Maintain equipment in good and proper working condition.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work with diverse groups of people in a friendly manner.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to multitask.
  • Quick learner takes initiative and possesses strong problem solving skills.
  • Responsible, friendly, positive, outgoing, and professional team player.
  • Kayak and/or SUP experience experience a plus.

Requirements:

  • MUST be available for weekend and evening hours. 
  • At least 18 years of age. 
  • Certifications: Current CPR/1st Aid certification
  • Reliable transportation to and from work site. 
  • Good physical condition. Must be able to REPEATEDLY lift 50 lbs. over your head.

Start Date: May 1st

End Date: September 30th
